6-10-24 emergency response unit called to waupun prison

An emergency response unit from the Dodge Correctional Institution was called to the Waupun Correctional Institution Thursday afternoon after several inmates refused to return to their cells from the prison recreation area.  Sources told WFDL news there were as many as 19 inmates involved.  Sources also tell WFDL news that as many as 12 correctional officers called in sick Thursday.  All of this happened a day after the Dodge County Sheriff 's Office announced that […]

6-10-24 fdl high school concession stand restroom fire called suspicious

Fond du Lac police say a fire that damaged a Fond du Lac High School concession stand restroom is suspicious and police are continuing their  investigation.   Nobody was injured in the fire Wednesday afternoon that caused significant damage  to the new restroom.  When firefighters arrived on the scene they found smoke coming from the maintenance room and restroom and quickly extinguished the fire.   Anyone with information is asked to contact Police detective […]
