A Brandon man convicted of possession of child pornography has been sentenced to prison.  Thirty eight year old Scott Knuuttila pleaded no contest to two counts of possession of child pornography.  Eight counts were dismissed and read into the record.  Fond du Lac Judge Robert Wirtz sentenced Knuuttila to four years in prison followed by three years of extended supervision.  Knuuttila was a volunteer with the Dodge County Emergency Response  team until he was arrested last May.

The Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue Department says the use of Narcan was down last year…but the number of drug overdose deaths was up.  Assistant Chief of EMS, Todd Janquardt, says paramedics administered Narcan 63 times in 2015 compared to 88 the year before.  Janquardt says the number of overdose deaths in 2015 more than doubled.  Janquardt says even though Narcan use was down significantly its way too early to say we […]

The Fond du Lac City Council recently completed City Manager Joseph Moore’s 2015 performance review. Nobody was injured in a fire that damaged a Fond du Lac home over the weekend.
