Fond du Lac police had to use a Taser before taking a Fond du Lac woman into custody following an alcohol related crash last week. Twenty three year old Michelle Wescher is charged with discharging bodily fluids at a police officer, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and bail jumping. Unemployment rates rose across most of Wisconsin's largest cities in November including Fond du lac. Preliminary data the state Department of Workforce Development released Wednesday shows unemployment rates in 29 of the state's 32 biggest cities increased from October. The city of Fond du Lac’s jobless rate inched up two tenths of a percent to 3.5 percent. The lowest unemployment rate was 2.9 percent in Fitchburg, Madison and Sun Prairie. […]
