The state Public Service Commission says water rates are going up in Fond du Lac starting January. The PSC last week approved a seven percent increase in water rates per quarter. The average residential customer in Fond du Lac will be paying $7.71 more or about $125 per quarter for water. A Ripon man convicted of hiding his brother's body is going to prison. At a hearing Tuesday Fond du Lac judge Dale English sentenced Robert Diamentis to three years in prison followed by two years of extended supervision.
