One of ten people charged in a methamphetamine conspiracy case in Fond du Lac County has been found not guilty.   A Fond du Lac jury on Friday found 25 year old Jason Norton not guilty of conspiracy to manufacture or deliver methamphetamine.  Ten people were charged in 2022 with delivering more than 100 pounds of  meth, valued at more than $1 million from the Detroit area to Fond du Lac.

The Fond du Lac County Board has approved a new contract with the Sheriff's union that includes an across the board eight percent wage increase this year and five percent increase next year.  The contract covers deputies, sergeants and detectives.  County executive Sam Kaufman says the new contract will make Fond du Lac County more competitive with other counties.  "I think the contract is going to be a great thing for our […]

Tony Evers, together with the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), submitted a request to the Republican-controlled Joint Finance Committee (JFC) requesting the release of $20 million in funding aimed at supporting local communities after recent University of Wisconsin (UW) System branch campus closures. The Branch Redevelopment Grant Program, which was established when Gov.
