MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Experts say conflicts with coyotes seem to be on the rise in the last couple months in Wisconsin.  Researchers at the University of Wisconsin Madison Urban Canid Project say recent reports of those conflicts, and in some cases attacks, have come from Madison, Milwaukee, Neenah and Mequon. 10-20-15 sheboygan death investigation

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) — Police are waiting for toxicology tests to determine how two people died in Sheboygan.  Capt. Kurt Brasser says there was no trauma or other obvious signs of how the two died. The 50-year-old man and 59-year-old woman were found dead by friends at a Sheboygan house Oct. 11.  Brasser says the deaths could be overdose-related, but the toxicology tests will help make that determination.

10-20-15 fdl road construction project

On Tuesday October 20th, water utility work will affect motorists traveling on County Road VVV or Rolling Meadows Drive near the Fond du Lac County Airport.  The road will be open to traffic, but motorists should expect delays from construction and flagging operations.  The work is expected to last one day.

10-19-15 beaver dam man seriously injured in alcohol-related crash

A passenger was seriously injured in a one vehicle alcohol related crash in Dodge County.   The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says 24 year old Adam Bazaldua of Beaver Dam was flown by helicopter to the hospital following the crash early Sunday morning on Highway 60 at the intersection with Junction Road. The City of Fond du Lac’s annual leaf collection will begin on Monday with crews starting in the northeast section of the city.  The collection will proceed in a clockwise direction – to the southeast, southwest, and northwest sections. The City of Fond du Lac Water Utility says the bi-annual citywide water main flushing starts Monday.   Flushing will start in the northeast section of the city and  continue in the southeast neighborhood on Tuesday, the southwest area on Wednesday morning and finish in the northwest quadrant Wednesday afternoon, October 21st.  Flushing operations will take place each day between  7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. 10-19-15 creekview project approved by psc

The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin has approved a new $25 million transmission line project near Eden.  PSC commissioners agreed on the need for the Creekview Interconnection Project and approved the north route proposed by ATC in its application filed earlier this year.  The project manager says the 138,000-volt transmission line will support the low-voltage distribution system in the region by connecting to a new We Energies substation.   The […]
