9-29-15 slain trooper honored

Gov. Scott Walker and State Patrol officials are honoring a rookie trooper killed in a shootout with a bank robber.  Trevor Casper was on his first solo patrol in March when he began tailing suspect Steven Timothy Snyder. Snyder suddenly stopped his vehicle in Fond du Lac and opened fire on Casper. The 21-year-old trooper and Snyder killed each other in the ensuing gunfight.  Snyder had robbed a Wausaukee bank […]

9-29-15 dodge county traffic crashes

A Milwaukee man faces charges following a rollover crash in Dodge County that sent three young children to the hospital.  Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt says the crash happened Sunday on Highway 41 in the town of Lomira.  Schmidt says the young kids were not properly restrained in the vehicle.  The driver, 30 year old Tory Agnew,  of Milwaukee was arrested for operating while intoxicated and the crash remains under […]
