9-29-15 fdl gas leak

A Fond du Lac apartment complex and business were evacuated following a gas leak in the area Monday.  Firefighters were called to the scene on Western Avenue and Brooke Street shortly before 2:30pm Monday where it appears construction crews may have accidentally struck a one inch gas line.  Alliant Energy was called to repair the leak.  An apartment complex and the Cars R Us business was evacuated as a precaution.

9-28-15 fdl middle school student sent to lincoln hills for arson fire that caused $70,000 damage

9-28-15 fdl man accused of giving drugs to young boy and sexually assaulting him

A Fond du Lac man accused of providing drugs to two boys and sexually assaulting them has been charged.  James Rasmussen made his initial Fond du Lac court appearance Wednesday on charges of first degree sexual assault of a child, exposing genitals to a child,  and three counts of delivery of marijuana.   Judge Peter Grimm set bail at $100,000 cash.   One of the alleged victims was 11 years old.
