9-25-15 planned parenthood funding

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin Assembly has passed a bill that would take $3.5 million a year in federal grant money away from Planned Parenthood. The Republican-controlled Assembly passed the measure Thursday with no Democratic support. The bill would bar any organization that provides abortions to qualify for federal Title X grant money.

9-24-15 fire destroys garage at town of ripon home

Nobody was injured in a fire that destroyed a garage and damaged in home in the town of Ripon.  Firefighters were called to the scene at W 14330 Brookwood Court about 4pm Wednesday.  In addition to Ripon firefighters, mutual aid was provided by Oshkosh, Princeton, Utica, Eldorado, Lamartine and Brandon-Fairwater.  Nobody was injured.  The cause of the fire is not believed to be suspicious, but remains under investigation.  Nobody was […]
