MILWAUKEE (AP) — A published report says a major donor to Gov. Scott Walker has reached an agreement with the Department of Natural Resources to buy some prime lakefront property in northern Wisconsin.  The agreement calls for the DNR to sell Elizabeth Uihlein  765 feet of frontage on Rest Lake in Vilas County for $275,000. Michael Tagliapietra won gold  in the P3 (Mixed 25m Pistol SH1) event at the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Shooting World Cup in Sydney, Australia.  Tagliapietra (Fond du Lac, Wisconsin) qualified for the Final in the eighth and last position with a score of 562. 9-18-15 town of ripon hires suspended former meg drug agent

The Town of Ripon has hired a former MEG Drug Unit agent  who was suspended in 2012 for having a sexual relationship with an informant.  Town of Ripon officials say Greg Weitz has been hired as a part time police officer.  Weitz was placed on unpaid suspension for misconduct and later resigned.
