9-18-15 milwaukee woman sentenced in dodge county stabbing

A Milwaukee woman has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for the stabbing death of a Fox Lake man.   Dodge County Circuit judge, Brian Pfitzinger, sentenced 31 year old Kriscilla McHenry to 20 years in prison and 20 years extended supervision in the stabbing death of Michael Soeller in a Randolph motel in August 2014.  Police say the victim was stabbed 38 times.   McHenry was convicted of second […]

The North Fond du Lac Fire Chief has resigned his position in  the village following his arrest this week on felony theft charges in Pennsylvania.  Richard Zmuda was arrested Wednesday afternoon after North Fond du Lac police received an arrest warrant from Bradford, Pennsylvania police.  North Fond du lac police chief Darren Pautsch says Zmuda is accused of stealing more than $47,000 from an elderly aunt.  Zmuda appeared in Fond […]

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin is 30th in private-sector job creation, but still lags the national average.  That's according to the latest figures released Thursday by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.  The report shows private-sector jobs in Wisconsin grew just over 1.7 percent for the 12-month period ending in March.
