MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Federal figures show that more than 183,000 Wisconsin residents were enrolled in health care insurance plans obtained through marketplace exchanges as of June 30. Data from the federal government show nearly 90 percent were receiving tax credits to help offset their premium costs. The average monthly credit was $312.

9-7-15 fdl street closure

A busy north south intersection in FDL will be closed starting Tuesday.  Public Works says the intersection of South Main Street and 9th Street will be closed starting Tuesday and remain closed approximately two weeks.  The  contractor is  removing and replacing the concrete pavement and to allow for concrete cure times.   Motorists are encouraged to follow the posted detour utilizing 6th Street, South  Park Avenue and East Pioneer Road.

9-7-15 fdl man charged with child sex assault

A Fond du Lac man accused of having sexual contact with underage teenage girls has been charged.  Twenty two year old Jason Bunkert is charged with 14 counts of child sex assault.   The incidents occurred in Fond du Lac County and at least one incident  allegedly happened more than two years ago in the city of Fond du Lac.   Bunkert is free on a $50,000 signature bond.
