The United Way Board of Directors has hired Amber Kilawee as the new executive director of the Fond du Lac Area United Way organization. Kilawee has worked for the United Way for eight years, starting as a college intern. She replaces longtime director Tina Potter who retired earlier this year. The United Way kicks off its annual fundraising campaign this month.
A Fond du Lac man accused of threatening an ex girlfriend with a gun at a nail salon has been charged.
