The Dodge County Sheriff’s  Office is investigating the death of a woman.  Early Sunday morning the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to 911  call at N866 County Rd R Watertown, WI for an unresponsive woman in the parking lot.  Emergency personnel responded and the woman was transported to Watertown Hospital where she was pronounced deceased. An elderly Nashota man has died from injured suffered in a motor vehicle crash in Dodge County last week. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says 87 year old Charles Scheurell died Friday at UW Hospital in Madison.  Scheurell was involved in a crash  on Highway 151 south of  Forest Road last Wednesday when his car was rear-ended by an SUV.  The SUV driver received minor injuries.

Nobody was injured in a fire that destroyed a barn in Fond du lac County.  Firefighters from a dozen departments were called to the the scene at  N4578 River Road, in the Town of Byron Friday night.   The barn contained approximately 250 round style hay bales.  The barn and its contents are considered a total loss.  The fire is believed to be caused by a lightning strike.

On Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 1:37am the Fond du Lac County Communications Center received a call of a one vehicle crash on Lap Rd north of Golf Course Rd in the Township of Taycheedah. From checking bags to manning concession stands, golf fans say  it's the ultimate volunteer experience. Although volunteers must pay a fee to participate, they receive golf gear and a credential allowing them to watch the golf when they're not working.

The North Fond du Lac Fire Department says it needs  a new ladder truck.  A meeting will be held Monday night to discuss the proposed purchase.  Village officials say the current ladder truck is 30 years old next year and is becoming ineffective as a fire emergency response vehicle.  The public is encouraged to attend the meeting to ask questions or provide input.  The meeting will be held at 6pm […]
