The Fond du Lac St. Mary’s Springs athletic program is being recognized for its outstanding achievement.  Springs is the winner of the 2014-15 Wisconsin Sports Network Cup for the Small Schools division. 6-29-15 garage fire

On June 29, 2015, at 12:52 a.m. FDLFR responded to a report of a detached garage fire to the rear of 274 E. 1st Street. Upon arrival crews experienced heavy fire conditions and a garage fully involved in fire.  Crews had to use extreme caution due to power lines in close proximity that were damaged by the fire. On 06-28-15 at 4:33pm, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash on Sth 33, west of the intersection with Cth P in the Township of Herman, Dodge County, Wisconsin. 6-29-15 former uw-oshkosh student sentenced to prison in ricin case

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — A former University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh student has been sentenced to three years and four months in prison for possessing the deadly poison ricin.  Twenty-one-year-old Kyle Allen Smith of Oshkosh pleaded guilty in March. 6-29-15 teen convicted of killing dad in sheboygan

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) — A judge has convicted a 19-year-old man accused of bludgeoning his father to death and hiding his body for nearly a week in their Sheboygan apartment.   Judge Terence Bourke delivered his verdict Friday. Dorrian M. Torres was 17 at the time of the killing in January 2014. He was charged with first-degree intentional homicide. Torres waived his right to a jury trial and claimed self-defense.  The […]
