Fond du Lac County has been selected as a test county for new election equipment. A preliminary hearing is scheduled later this month for a Kenosha man charged in the cold case slaying of a Sturdevant teenager in Fond du Lac County. Dennis Brantner is charged with first degree murder in the 1990 death of Berit Beck. A preliminary hearing for Brantner is scheduled for April 30th. Brantner is being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail on a million dollars cash bail.
