Fond du Lac police are investigating a reported sexual assault in a bathroom at  the Fond du Lac Public Library.  A police report says a woman told officers a man followed her into the bathroom and sexually assaulted her.  The incident was reported Sunday afternoon.  Fond du Lac Assistant Police Chief Steve Klein says the individuals involved are familiar with one another and says its still an active investigation.  Library […]

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Four University of Wisconsin System schools are offering employees buyouts to help absorb their shares of a $300 million system-wide cut in Gov. A suspect in the cold case homicide of Berit Beck has been charged with her murder.  Dennis Brantner made his initial Fond du lac Court appearance Monday afternoon on a charge of first degree murder.  Bail was set at $1 million cash.  Brantner was arrested Friday at his home in Kenosha.  Fond du Lac County Sheriff Mick Fink says Brantner’s fingerprints were found on several items in Beck’s van.  The […]
