A Taycheeda women's prison inmate charged with killing her cellmate has pleaded not guilty to first-degree intentional homicide.   Twenty-eight year old Taylor Sanchez, an inmate at the Taycheedah Correctional Institution, entered the plea Tuesday during her arraignment in Fond du Lac County Circuit Court in the death of Cindy Schulz-Juedes. There was little change in the local unemployment rate last month.  The city of Fond du Lac's unemployment rate increased a tenth of a percent to 3.3 percent in March.   The jobless rate was 2.9 percent in Fond du Lac County, up from 2.7 percent in February.  The Dodge County unemployment rate was down a tenth of a percent to three percent.

Nobody was injured in a fire at a candy store in Theresa.  Around 12:30am Wednesday firefighters were called to  Confections for Any Occasions by Joel  and quickly extinguished the fire.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.  No residents were displaced as a result of the fire.
