At approximately 216am, on Thursday, February 19, 2015, the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch center received a 911 call reference a home that was on fire at the Jane Johnson residence located at N2297 Timberlane Dr. in the Town of Ashford. 2-19-15 dangerous windchills

Wisconsin emergency management is reminding residents to take common sense precautions during this bitter cold snap.  Emergency management’s Tod Pritchard says when its this cold it doesn’t take long for frostbite to occur.  "When we start getting into these minus 25, minus 30-35 windchills, you're looking at frostbite that can set in in ten minutes or so,'  Pritchard told WFDL news.

A 23 year old  North Fond du Lac man has been arrested after he was revived with Narcan following a heroin overdose.  North Fond du Lac police Chief Darren Pautsch says rescue personnel were called to the Stretch Truck stop this week for a report of a man passed out in the restroom.  Pautsch says officers and EMS found drugs on a toilet and a syringe in the man.  Narcan […]

2-19-15 speed limit bill

A bill aimed at increasing the speed limit on Wisconsin highways is cruising through the Capitol.  Rep. Paul Tittl, a Manitowoc Republican, says the bill allows the Department of Transportation to increase speed limits to 70 miles per hour in approved areas.
