Benjamin Wissing of Ripon was selected as Marian University’s February Veteran of the Month. Wissing served in the Army National Guard, and has served two combat tours in Iraq, as well as one border patrol mission in Arizona. 2-10-15 not guilty pleas entered in deer thrill-kill case

Two men charged in connection with the alleged thrill-killing of 15 deer in Green Lake County have pleaded not guilty.  Nineteen year old Grant Boese, of Ripon and 18 year old Steven L. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Secretary of State's office could see its staff and budget shrink by half under Gov. Scott Walker's budget.  Walker's proposal would cut the office's annual budget by 48 percent over the next two years and would eliminate two of the office's four full-time positions.
