4-19-24 5 year old fdl boy with rare kidney disease undergoes kidney transplant

A Fond du Lac boy who has a rare genetic disease has undergone a life-saving kidney transplant.  Five year old Greyson Neubauer was born premature and required hemodialysis within a week after birth.  His mother, Katie Rusch, says Greyson was diagnosed with what's called Denys-Drash, a rare genetic disease that affects only 500 people worldwide.  Rusch says it put Greyson at high risk for kidney cancer, and doctors removed Greyson's kidneys […]
