Two of three men arrested in a deer  "thrill kill"  case in Green Lake County have been charged.  Nineteen year old Grant Boese of Ripon and 18 year old Steven Steger of Princeton  are charged with multiple hunting and gun related charges.   Boese faces 128 charges including failing to obtain a deer hunting license, hunting after revocation, illegal shining and discharging a firearm from  a vehicle.  Steger faces 74 […]

1-19-15 cats euthanized

More than a dozen cats rescued from a Campbellsport area trailer home earlier this month have been euthanized.  The Fond du Lac Animal Shelter manager says 15 of the 42 cats removed from the trailer suffered from multiple medical problems and were euthanized.  The rest of the cats remain at the shelter and are receiving veterinary treatment.  Meanwhile the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate to determine […]

1-19-15 milwaukee woman bound over for trial in dodge county homicide

A Milwaukee woman accused of killing a Town of Fox Lake man in August has been bound over for trial. Probable cause was found at a preliminary hearing Thursday in Dodge County Circuit Court for 30 year old Kriscilla McHenry. (AP) — Republican lawmakers are moving closer to changing the way the Wisconsin Supreme Court chooses its chief.  The Assembly Judiciary Committee voted along party lines Thursday to have Supreme Court justices elect their chief. The Fond du Lac School District will again be offering a half-day, 4-year-old-kindergarten (4K) experience for Fall 2015. (AP) — Cabela's plans to hire about 200 people for its new store in Sun Prairie.  The store is under construction and is scheduled to open this spring.  The outdoor outfitter company announced Friday it's taking online applications for the full-time, part-time and seasonal positions. The Fond du Lac County Agriculture Society is one of several ag organizations across the state receiving a grant from the Professional Dairy Producers Foundation.  The Foundation Board has announced funding for the Ag Birthing and Education Center at the Fond du Lac County Fair.  The fair is held from July 15th-19th.
