A Fond du lac high school student was seriously injured in an accident in the high school wood working shop this week. Assistant police chief Steve Thiry says two boys were fooling around near the end of the school day Wednesday when one of the boys fell and suffered a severe laceration to his head. Fond du Lac fire chief Pete O’Leary says the student was transported to the hospital.
Two longtime Fond du Lac firefighters have retired and five officers were sworn into office this week after receiving promotions.
