1-14-15 marian university veteran of the month

Justin Pesch was selected as Marian University’s January Veteran of the Month.  Pesch served in the United States Marine Corps from 2008-2012,  and worked in the Combat Operation Center in Afghanistan from 2011-2012. Pesch continues to serve the local community through several organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, Wounded Warrior Project and Salute the Troops. 1-14-15 plea agreement reached for husband in child abuse case

A Fond du Lac man accused of failing to prevent his wife from abusing two children has avoided trial. Troy Riehl pleaded no contest to three misdemeanor counts of neglecting a child and a deferred prosecution agreement was reached on two felony counts of failing to protect a child.  Judge Dale English placed Riehl on two years probation.  Earlier this month 46 year old Jeana Riehl pleaded no contest to […]

1-14-15 fdl man sentenced in gas station robbery

A Fond du Lac man convicted of robbing the Speedway gas station on West Johnson Street is going to prison.  Fond du Lac judge Dale English sentenced 59 year old Paul Tennis Jr. to three years in prison followed by three years extended supervision.   Tennis was also ordered to pay restitution and write a letter of apology.  Tennis pleaded no contest last fall to an amended charge of robbery […]
