Fond du Lac police are investigating a spree of vandalism incidents  involving near downtown buildings and vehicles this week.  Police say  at least ten incidents were reported at several locations including the Wells Manufacturing building on South Brooke Street and the former Casa Anna Cheese building on Forest Avenue.  Police say there were similar incidents reported in other areas of the city as well.  Anyone with information is asked to […]

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Fewer Wisconsin children died as a result of child abuse and neglect in 2013. 1-7-15 rescued dogs now up for adoption

Five dogs rescued shortly before Christmas after they were abandoned along the side of busy Highway 41 are up for adoption.  Fond du Lac Animal Shelter manager Renee Webb says the dogs may have spent weeks in the elements before they were spotted by passing motorists.  Webb says a couple of the dogs were easily captured…but authorities had to use a tranquilizer dart to capture one of the puppies.  Webb […]

MILWAUKEE (AP) — It's looking like another big winter for snowy owls in Wisconsin.  Numerous sightings have been reported of the big birds staging their annual mass migration south from Canada.
