MILWAUKEE (AP) — A Florida sports betting consultant has pleaded not guilty to federal charges he allegedly threatened a customer into giving him more than $25 million.  Adam Meyer appeared with his attorney in U.S. District Court in Milwaukee Monday. At about 4:37 p.m., the Beaver Dam Fire Department was notified of smoke coming from the building at 1322 N. Spring Street in the City of Beaver Dam.  This building is the former Green Giant facility and is now used for storage. 1-5-15 fire damages basement of nfdl home

An electrical problem apparently started a fire that damaged the basement of a home in North Fond du Lac.  Firefighters were called to the scene on Minnesota Avenue Sunday afternoon to a report of a fire in the basement of a home.  An officer on the scene reported heavy smoke in the basement and flames visible. The fire was contained to the basement of the home.  No injuries were reported.

A Fond du Lac County man was injured after he was attacked by a deer he shot while crossbow hunting. The Fond du lac County Sheriff’s Office says the incident happened Friday evening on the Peebles Trail near Highway K in the town of Taycheeda.  The Sheriff’s Office says the 72 year old man was tracking the deer when the animal struck him in the leg with her head.  The […]
