OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — Oshkosh police have arrested one of two men they say committed robberies and assaults near the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh campus. Authorities say a 19-year-old man was arrested Sunday after punching a victim. Officials say a second suspect involved in Sunday's attack and at least two other incidents has not been found.
A 21 year old Fond du Lac man faces charges after allegedly pointing a laser at a police squad car. Police say the incident happened Sunday morning in the area of 6th and Marr Streets. Police say an officer driving the squad was concerned that it could be a tactical laser light on a weapon.

The Fond du Lac School Board has approved a budget that includes a decrease in the tax levy. Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert says the budget includes a 3.8 percent decrease in the levy or nearly $1.3 million less than the 2013-14 budget and a five percent decrease in the Mill rate. Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash in Dodge County. Sheriff Pat Ninman says 22 year old Jerred Gerlach of Horicon was killed Saturday night when his motorcycle struck a power pole following a short chase with a sheriff’s deputy.
