9-26-14 fdl power outage

Thousands of  Fond du lac residents and businesses on the city’s south side were without power for a couple hours this morning after a semi truck struck  a power pole on Morris Street.  The accident happened shortly before 6:30am and has also affected traffic signals at several intersections.  An Alliant Energy spokesperson says power was restored to all but two people by 8:45am.

9-26-14 ev68 virus confirmed in wisconsin

MADISON—The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has informed the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) that it has confirmed one positive case of Enterovirus D68 in the state. Achild from Door County tested positive for the virus. MADISON, Wis.
