9-17-14 walleye weekend money raised

Walleye Weekend 2014 provided $211,504.00 in net proceeds to the 45 non-profits, service organizations and schools participating in this year’s festival.  Fond du Lac Festivals director Leanne Doyle, says in the past three years  the festival has raised more than $617,000 supporting the non-profits, service organizations and schools participating in Walleye Weekend.   Doyle says 63,000 people attended this year’s event.

9-16-14 nine suspected cases of respiratory virus in wi

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Doctors suspect there are at least nine Wisconsin cases of the respiratory and stomach virus that's hospitalized hundreds of children around the country. Samples of the nine suspected cases in the Madison area were sent to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Dr. Sharyl Paley at Bayshore Pediatrics says her clinic has seen a lot of respiratory illnesses in an outpatient setting.
