CHICAGO (AP) — A federal appeals court has reinstated Wisconsin's voter photo identification law.  U.S. District Judge Lynn Adelman struck the law down as unconstitutional in April, saying it unfairly burdens poor and minority voters who may lack such identification. Wisconsin Republican U.S. Senator Ron Johnson has been nominated by President Barack Obama to serve as a representative to the United Nations General Assembly.  The 69th session of the Assembly begins Tuesday.  If confirmed, Johnson would continue to serve as senator.  Johnson has been highly critical of the president’s foreign policy, stating Thursday that Obama’s plan to defeat the Islamic State terrorist group was  “weak.”

9-13-14 fleet farm bomb scare suspect enters not guilty plea

A Fond du Lac teenager has entered a not guilty plea to a charge of making a bomb scare at Fleet Farm. Seventeen year old Christopher Porter, entered the plea at an arraignment hearing Friday in Fond du lac County Circuit Court.  Police say Porter admitted to leaving the bomb threat note in a bathroom at Fleet Farm on July 3rd.   He was employed by Fleet Farm at the […]

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) — Authorities have charged a Sheboygan man who they say used a dog's shock collar on his 7-year-old daughter.  Twenty eight year-old Zachary Kacmar was charged Thursday with felony physical abuse of a child.
