8-29-14 campbellsport teen pleads not guilty in attack of sheriff’s deputy

A Campbellsport teenager accused of trying to disarm a sheriff’s deputy has  pleaded not guilty.  Nineteen year old Tanner Gremminger was arraigned in Fond du lac County Circuit Court Thursday on charges of battery to an officer,  disarming a police officer and obstructing.  Gremminger is accused of pointing a taser at sheriff’s deputy Paul Metzger after the deputy was allegedly struck by 22 year old Colton O’Brien of Eden.  Gremminger […]

8-28-14 dredging work completed at lakeside park

8-28-14 crow in fdl county tests positive for west nile virus

The Fond du Lac County Health Department reports a dead crow found in Fond du Lac County has tested positive for West Nile virus.  Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says this is the first bird that tested positive for the virus locally since surveillance for the mosquito-transmitted virus began May first.  Mueller says West Nile virus is spread to humans through the bite of an infected mosquito.  Mosquitoes acquire the […]
