MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin continues to lead the nation in the production of mink pelts. The U.S. Department of Agriculture says Wisconsin produced 1.13 million mink pelts last year. That's up almost 8 percent from 2011. Two-thirds of Wisconsin's mink pelts were black and another 10 percent were blue iris.
A quick thinking construction worker helped a fire from spreading in Fond du Lac.
