One person is in custody following a high speed chase that started in Fond du Lac County. Shortly after 6pm Monday the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office was notified by the State Patrol of a speeding vehicle on southbound Interstate 41. 3-19-24 new report shows 1 in 8 people living with obesity

3-19-24 dodge county sheriff’s office cracking down on drivers without a valid drivers license

The Dodge County Sheriff says his office is changing it's policy to become more aggressive in cracking down on drivers without a valid driver's license.  Sheriff Dale Schmidt says effective immediately the Sheriff's Office will no longer issue citations for Operating While Suspended, but will issue OWL citations and asking the District Attorney to prosecute in hopes of gaining compliance.  Schmidt says the change follows two recent cases involving chronic offenders.  A 21 […]
