2-26-24 fatal vehicle vs pedestrian crash i-41

One person was killed in a vehicle vs pedestrian crash on Interstate 41 near Appleton.  The crash happened shortly after 8am Friday on southbound 41 near Meade Street.   According to the State Patrol witnesses reported a pedestrian was  exited a vehicle  and ran into the path of an oncoming commercial vehicle. The crash remains under investigation.

2-26-24 wisconsin lawmakers ok bill to tackle forever chemicals pollution but governor is not on board

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Republican lawmakers in Wisconsin have passed a bill that would unlock $125 million to fight so-called forever chemicals. But Gov. Tony Evers isn't on board with the plan.
