Three Beaver Dam firefighters were injured, one seriously, in an air boat training exercise crash on Beaver Dam Lake. The crash occurred shortly after 7:30pm Monday on Grape Island and the cause remains under investigation.
The Fond du Lac School Board has approved the hiring of a new Athletic Director and English Language Arts Coordinator. At their meeting Monday night the school board promoted Fond du Lac High School and STEM Academy German teacher, Thomas Triller to the new English Language Arts coordinator post. The Fond du Lac Area United Way has reached it's fundraising goal. United Way executive director Amber Kilawee says the fund drive has topped the goal of $575,000. "We are so fortunate to have a resource-fortunate community, and it's really because of the donors and the folks that believe in the health and human service network, " Kilawee told WFDL news."
