1-2-24 fdl county department of community programs and social services merger

Starting this week the Fond du Lac County Department of Community Programs and Social Services have merged to form the Department of Human Services.   County executive Sam  Kaufman says the consolidation will eliminate duplication and make the department run more efficiently.   Kaufman says the service locations within these departments will not change with the merger.

12-26-23 car crashes into side of fdl cost cutters building

Nobody was seriously injured after a car crashed into the side of a building in Fond du Lac on Christmas Day.  The crash happened Monday afternoon when a car traveling on Pioneer Road left the road and crashed into the side of the Cost Cutters building.  The crash remains under investigation.
