Nobody was seriously injured following a fire that damaged a Fond du Lac home. Shortly after 7pm Tuesday firefighters were called to 369 North Street and quickly knocked down the fire but not before flames caused heavy damage in the kitchen and smoke damage throughout the house. One person was treated at the scene. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
A Fond du Lac man convicted in connection with a stabbing incident outside a Fond du Lac tavern is going to prison. Fond du Lac County Circuit judge Tricia Walker sentenced 32 year old Vickendricka Jones to 19 years in prison followed by 20 years extended supervision.
