A Lomira man has died from injuries following a motorcycle vs car crash in Fond du Lac County.  The Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office says 75 year old James Bauer of Lomira died Wednesday at Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee.  The crash happened about 5pm Tuesday on Highway 49 west of Church Road. The Dodge County Sheriff's Office has identified the victim of a serious injury ATV crash.  Eighteen year old Jillian Dunham of rural Watertown was flown by helicopter to a hospital with serious injuries following the crash Tuesday afternoon about three miles northwest of Watertown.   A preliminary investigation showed Dunham was operating the all-terrain vehicle westbound on Wood Road near County  Road K when it left the road and overturned in a ditch.  She […]

An increase in shared revenue will help Fond du Lac County balance a proposed 2024 budget.  County executive Sam Kaufman presented the proposed 2024 budget at Tuesday night's county board meeting.  Kaufman says the county is receiving approximately $1.1 million more in state shared revenue for next year's budget.  Kaufman says no positions are being cut.  He says rising health insurance costs continue to impact the budget.  Big ticket items include […]
