10-6-23 man injured after falling from a tree

A Fond du Lac man was seriously injured after falling from a tree.  Shortly before 10am Thursday paramedics were called to a residence at 754 Mequon Avenue for a report of a man who fell 20 to 30 feet from a tree and injured his leg.  According to reports the man was trimming the tree when the accident happened.  The man flown by Flight for Life Helicopter to a hospital.

The Dundee Mill Park Octoberfest is being held this weekend.  The event will be held Saturday from 11am to 5pm at the historic  Dundee Mill.  The mill was built in the 1850s in the Kettle Moraine, as a lumber mill, before later becoming a flour and grist mill.  The event will feature German food and beverage, a raffle, and polka band from 1pm to 4pm.  Admission is free but donations are appreciated.
