7-25-23 stabbing incident

Two people were transported to the hospital following a stabbing incident in Fond du Lac Tuesday morning.  Police were called to the scene on Merrill Avenue near Chegwin Elementary School.  According to scanner reports the victim was stabbed in the stomach and the suspect had dropped the knife.  One person was flown by helicopter to Theda Care Regional Medical Center in Neenah.  A second person was transported to St. Agnes […]

An air quality advisory is in effect until noon Tuesday for southern Wisconsin including Fond du Lac, Dodge and Sheboygan counties.  Due to smoke originating from wildfires in western Canada, the air quality index is expected to reach the UNHEALTHY FOR SENSITIVE GROUPS level.  People with heart or lung disease, older adults, and children should reduce prolonged or heavy exertion.

7-25-23 ripon man charged with reckless homicide

A Ripon man has been charged with providing drugs that led to an overdose death.   Michael Manske is charged with party to a crime of  first degree reckless homicide, and maintaining a drug trafficking place.  Bail was set at $250,000 cash.  A preliminary hearing is  scheduled for July 28th.
