The body of a missing boater who disappeared on Big Green Lake has been recovered. The Green Lake County Sheriff's Office said the 36-year-old's body was found around 4:40 p.m. Friday, just over 24 hours after he was reported as missing. Nobody was injured in a fire that significantly damaged a garage in Fond du Lac. Shortly before 9:30am Friday firefighters were called to 615 Prairie Parkway to find smoke and flames showing from the three-car attached garage. The fire was quickly extinguished but not before causing extensive damage to the garage. Residents in the home were able to evacuate without injury.
