7-13-23 waupun man arrested on drug charges following traffic stop

A Waupun man was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop in Fond du Lac County.  Last Friday evening a sheriff's deputy pulled over a vehicle on Highway 151 near Townline Road for a traffic violation.  The deputy realized the driver had been involved in previous drug trafficking incidents and was currently on parole for drug related convictions.  A search of the vehicle recovered  crack cocaine, cocaine powder and marijuana.  A search of the […]

Tuesday was a majestic day for Wisconsin Mega Millions players. A $1,000,000 Mega Millions winning ticket was sold at Pick N Save on 2643 Eastern Ave. in Plymouth. The winning ticket matched five of five numbers (10-31-45-46-49) but not the Mega Ball (5) from the Tuesday, July 11 drawing. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin regulators have issued a wastewater permit that limits expansion plans for a factory farm in Door County. S & S Jerseyland Dairy based in Sturgeon Bay asked the state Department of Natural Resources in 2017 for permission to increase its herd from about 5,000 cows to about 10,000 cows. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A northern Wisconsin town has paid an American Indian tribe $24,000 to keep reservation roads open to the public through mid-August. 7-12-23 central wisconsin wildfire consumes nearly 1,000 acres

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A wildfire in central Wisconsin has consumed almost 1,000 acres and forced evacuations of 100 properties. State Department of Natural Resources officials say the fire began Monday afternoon in Waushara County.
