MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin has suspended linebacker Jordan Turner from the team for a violation of the athletic department’s student-athlete discipline policy. The school didn’t offer additional details or specifics, adding federal law bars from disclosing any information regarding disciplinary actions toward a student. Turner had 68 tackles during the Badgers’ 7-6 season last year to rank behind linebacker Maema Njongmeta among Wisconsin players.

6-30-23 chemical leak at fdl company

Nobody was injured following a chemical leak in Fond du Lac.  Friday morning Fond du Lac firefighters were called to Milk Specialties on Tompkins Street for a report of a yellow smoke plume near the shipping docks where semi-trucks off-load chemicals.   The Fond du Lac Haz Mat Team was dispatched and the building was evacuated.  An investigation determined a major failure in a hose resulted in nitric acid being sprayed onto drums of a surfactant […]

A Racine man is in custody following a high speed chase in Fond du Lac County.   The chase started shortly after 7:30pm Thursday on southbound Interstate 41 near Sales Road .
