Nobody was injured in a fire that destroyed a barn in Fond du Lac County.  Shortly after noon Friday firefighters from several area departments were called to a report of a barn fire on Maple Drive in the town of Auburn.  When firefighters arrived the barn was engulfed in flames.  The hay barn and attached feeding area are a complete loss.   It is believed a tractor moving hay in the barn […]

Nearly 1,400 undergraduate and graduate students were honored for their academic success at University of Wisconsin Oshkosh spring commencement ceremonies Saturday.   UW Oshkosh’s 148th spring commencement was held Saturday at the Kolf Sports Center.  Provost John Koker, who first joined UWO as a faculty member in the mathematics department in 1991, delivered remarks.  He presided over his final commencement at UWO as he retires this summer.
