(AP) — State and federal officials are warning horse owners not to feed their animals Top of the Rockies brand alfalfa cubes after nearly 100 horses have developed neurologic illnesses and 45 have died or been euthanized. A fourth person has been convicted of election fraud in Fond du Lac County.   Jamie M. Wells was convicted of misdemeanor election fraud for illegally voting in the November 2020 election.  According to a criminal complaint Wells used a P.O Box address as her residential  voting address, and never lived in the ward where she registered and voted.  The investigation also revealed that Wells did not live in Fond du Lac County despite voting […]

Two people were transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation following a fire in Ripon.  Firefighters from several area departments, including Fond du Lac and Oshkosh were called to the scene on Washington Street  shortly after 2pm Sunday for a report of a multi-unit house on fire.   The fire was quickly knocked down and contained to one of the apartment units.    The fire appears to have started in the area of the kitchen stove.

A Wisconsin woman is the next Miss America.  Grace Stanke, a native of Wausau, was crowned Miss America during a ceremony in Connecticut on Thursday.
