A deer hunter from Waupaca was rescued after capsizing his kayak in the Eldorado Marsh over the weekend.  Shortly after 7:30am Saturday  the Fond du Lac County Dispatch Center received a 911 call from the hunter saying he was in the Fond du Lac River north  of the  Mascoutin Valley State Park Trail in the Eldorado Marsh State Wildlife area.   The Lamartine Fire Department was called and rescued the subject […]

DENVER (AP) — The Colorado Rockies have claimed left-hander Brent Suter off waivers from the Milwaukee Brewers. The 33-year-old Suter went 5-3 with a 3.78 ERA in 54 appearances this past season. Wisconsin's unemployment rate stands at 3.3 percent in October.  That's up from 3.2 in September.  The Department of Workforce Development says U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics preliminary employment estimates for the month of October  showed Wisconsin has added 58,800 total nonfarm and 54,600 private sector jobs from October 2021 through October 2022.
