10-10-22 four people transported to hospital following rollover crash in fdl county

Four people were injured, two seriously, in a one vehicle rollover crash in Fond du Lac County.    The crash happened shortly after 5:30pm Saturday on Highway GGG.   Two male passengers from Sheboygan, ages 14 and 18,  were  flown by helicopter to hospitals with serious injuries.  The driver, a 31 year old Kiel  man, and another passenger, a 19 year old Kohler man,  received minor injuries.  The Sheriff's Office says speed and careless operation of […]

10-10-22 nobody injured in waupun residential fire

Nobody was injured in a fire that significantly damaged a Waupun home over the weekend.  Firefighters were called to the Craig and Julie Bronkhorst home on Longview Road Saturday morning to find smoke and flames visible and extending through the roof of the home.   Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire before it extended into other parts of the home. 10-10-22 victim of fatal head on collision in fdl county identified

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate a fatal head on collision.  The crash happened shortly after 12pm Friday on state Highway 26 near Triple Kay Road south of Rosendale.  A preliminary investigation shows a northbound vehicle crossed the center line colliding with a southbound car.  The driver of the northbound vehicle, 71 year old Mark Fashun, of Eldorado was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver and passenger in the southbound […]

(AP) — A federal judge in Wisconsin has dismissed a lawsuit from a taxpayers group seeking to block President Joe Biden’s student loan forgiveness program, ruling that the group doesn’t have standing to bring the lawsuit. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A Dane County judge for now is refusing to allow local election clerks to accept partial witness addresses on absentee ballots. 10-8-22 space day at eaa aviation museum

Space Day returns to the EAA Aviation Museum in Oshkosh this weekend.  EAA spokesman Dick Knapinksi says the event is being held from 10am to 5pm Saturday.  The first female space shuttle pilot and commander Eileen Collins will be the featured speaker at 4pm Saturday.  Other activities include Mercury and Gemini capsule replicas, a moon game, compressed air rockets and a re-entry capsule design.  The events are all included wtih regular museum admission.
