9-29-22 fdl city council cuts funding for envision greater fdl

The president of Envision Greater Fond du Lac says she is disappointed the Fond  du Lac city council is slashing it's funding for the organization in the city's 2023 budget.   Sadie Vander Velde says the council has cut the city's $65,000 contribution to Envision in half, reallocating the $32,000 to the Downtown Fond  du Lac  Partnership.  Vander Velde says the money was used to fund two positions,  the director of Small Business and Entrepreneurship,  and […]

9-29-22 fdl intersection closure

The Fond du Lac Public Works Department says the intersection  Brooke  and Division Streets will be closed starting this week. The closure will begin Thursday,  and remain closed for two weeks. The closure will be in place to allow a utility contractor to replace a manhole in the intersection and restore the road.
