A preliminary Fond du Lac School District budget includes more than $4 million in federal stimulus money to balance the budget. The Fond du Lac Area United Way fund drive is officially underway. Executive Director Amber Kilawee says this year's goal is $500,000. "99% of what we raise here stays here to impact one in three people throughout the county," Kilawee told WFDL news. Kilawee says this year's pacesetter, Holiday Automotive, helped kickstart the campaign raising more than $64,000.
