A winning $50,000 Powerball lottery ticket has been sold in Fond du lac.  The winning ticket was sold at Hansen's BP on West Johnson Street for the January 4th drawing.  The ticket matched four of the five numbers (26-32-43-54-56) and the Powerball (24). 1-7-25 john bucklen-longtime fdl radio announcer and boyhood friend of bob dylan, dies

Longtime radio announcer and boyhood friend of Bob Dylan, John Bucklen, has died.  He was 83.  According to an obituary Bucklen died December 24 at SSM Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.  Bucklen was a longtime announcer for KFIZ radio in Fond du Lac and best friend of Bob Dylan, then Bob Zimmerman, while they were growing up in Hibbing, Minnesota in the 1950s.    Visitation will be held from 4pm to […]

1-6-25 utv breaks through ice on dodge county lake

Nobody was injured and one person was arrested after a UTV broke through the ice on Lake Sinissippi in Dodge County over the weekend.  The incident happened early Sunday evening.  Both occupants were pulled out of the water and back to shore.  The operator, was arrested for operating a UTV while under the influence of an intoxicant.
